Chris Gamble - Creator of Mind Kind

Chris is a trained and currently practising teacher with teaching experience across several continents. He has teaching experience in schools worldwide and also choose to homeschool his own children while sailing the Pacific on his home built yacht. He believed that if one could create certain resources, the 'missing link' in education would be discovered. That has been achieved. Mind Kind has designed resources that imitate the performance of an excellent educator, using knowledge about how a brain learns best. With these resources, any educator has the power to transform their student's performance (as well as their own!). An individual, from primary to tertiary, using our methods and resources, achieves the maximum.

Despite good intentions, in a traditional approach, students generally do not learn how-to-learn or how to cope with a modern and changing world. The less successful often suffer damaged self-esteem. Traditional approaches do not cope well with students who are outside norms - need extending, strong religious convictions, learning problems emotionally disturbed, attention deficit, different social backgrounds etc. The character of a modern student, because they are brought up in a visual, often material world without adequate time to play and reflect - is little understood. The success of a student in learning how to read well, still largely depends on how successful the parents are as a first teacher.

The methods of these tutors address the issues above, providing training which is at the leading edge of education and makes it possible for students independently (or guided by supervisors - there is no need to be a trained teacher though this is the ideal) to be educated at speeds which will amaze. Mind Kind UK is co-ordinated by Mark Haward. Mark has spent eighteen years as an educator and teacher in the UK , New Zealand and Australia. He is now an international learning consultant working with Mind Kind Education. Mark has run his own Mind Kind Whole Brain Learning Computer Tutor Centre teaching pupils, students and adults. He runs courses for, head teachers, advisors, local education authorities, regional literacy and detailed information projects including gifted and talented learners, schools and school clusters, colleges, universities and business communities.
